Entering My Twilight Years

In June I will turn 70 . This close to beginning my eighth decade, remember your first decade in life is birth (0) thru age 9, makes me think of how little time I may have. If I am lucky, I have only lived two-thirds of my life. If not....

I have published four books, one of which is comprised of 17 short stories. I am writing an 'R' rated three book thriller series about an unconventional serial killer. The first book of the series will be published January 2025. I have started a historical novel set in post Civil War Indian Territory (Oklahoma). I have an unfinished short story I considered adding to the collection of short stories I recently published. Instead, it is now another novel in the works. I will have more on that book later. I also have in my upcoming projects another historical novel based on two of the more popular characters in my historical romance: Full Circle: A Life Story.

My wife has ask me more than once why I am in such a hurry to get my books written and published. My answer involves a visual of an old fashioned hourglass with very little sand left in the top half. There is a real sense of urgency.

I want to include you, my readers, in my writing journey. Maybe share my influences and ideas, as well as, the progress of my current and future writing projects.
